🌙 The blessed month of Dhul Hijjah is expected to begin at sunset on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
Those planning to offer Udhiyyah/Qurbani are encouraged to cut their nails and trim their hair before sunset on Sunday, as they should refrain from doing so once Dhul Hijjah begins until their sacrifice is completed.
May Allah ï·» allow us to witness these blessed days and fill them with goodness.
Umm Salamah (RA) said:
The Messenger of Allah ï·º said, “When anyone of you intends to sacrifice the animal and enter in the month of Dhul-Hijjah, he should not get his hair cut or nails pared till he has offered his sacrifice.” (Reported by Muslim)
